Jagruthi is a nonprofit organization founded in 1993 in the heart of Khammam, Telangana, with a steadfast commitment to uplifting marginalized tribal and rural communities. For over three decades, we have been a catalyst for change, focusing on empowering those often overlooked by mainstream development efforts. We believe in a holistic approach to addressing societal challenges, striving to create a world where every individual has the opportunity to lead a life of dignity, security, and fulfillment.
At the core of our mission is a deep commitment to social justice and equality. We work tirelessly to address critical issues such as women’s empowerment, child labor, child rights, education, safe motherhood, and healthcare for HIV-affected and infected children. Beyond these vital social initiatives, Jagruthi has taken the lead in promoting sustainable practices, including watershed development, natural resource management, and community-based tank management, to ensure environmental sustainability and food security for future generations.
Our work extends across the Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts of Telangana, touching the lives of thousands of families. We collaborate closely with government agencies, civil society, and community stakeholders to bridge gaps in access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities. By mobilizing communities, raising awareness, and advocating for their rights, we empower individuals to take charge of their lives and become active participants in their development journey.
About Us
Jagruthi is a dedicated nonprofit organization founded in 1993 in Khammam, Telangana. Our primary mission is to empower marginalized tribal communities and the rural poor by addressing the critical challenges they face in their everyday lives. With a strong focus on women empowerment, child rights, sustainable agriculture, and social security, we work to break the barriers of isolation, poverty, and marginalization. Over the years, we have reached out to thousands of individuals in Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts, providing them with vital resources, awareness, and support to improve their livelihoods and well-being.
Our holistic approach encompasses various initiatives that focus on social and economic empowerment, ensuring access to health services, education, and government resources.
