Welcome to Jagruthi

Our mission extends beyond providing immediate relief; we focus on sustainable, community-led solutions that empower individuals and families to take control of their lives. By advocating for women’s empowerment, child rights, safe motherhood, and access to quality education, we aim to create an environment where every woman and child can thrive. Recognizing the devastating impact of HIV/AIDS on families and communities, we also provide care and support to children and families affected by the disease, ensuring they have the resources and hope to rebuild their lives.

As stewards of natural resources, we are deeply committed to promoting sustainable agriculture, watershed development, and community-based tank management to enhance food security and resilience against climate change. We believe that sustainable development begins with the empowerment of local communities, enabling them to harness their resources, protect their environment, and build a better future for themselves and future generations.

About Us

Together with our team, partners, and supporters, we strive to create lasting impact and sustainable growth for the communities we serve. We are more than an organization—we are a movement for change, lighting the way toward a just and equitable future for all.

Our Services

At Jagruthi, we offer a wide range of services aimed at empowering and uplifting marginalized communities in Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts. Our focus is on addressing the critical issues faced by tribal and rural populations, particularly women, children, and vulnerable groups, to ensure they have access to necessary resources and support for a better quality of life.

Women Empowerment

We work to uplift women by providing them with education, skill development, and leadership opportunities. Our programs are designed to help women become active participants in their communities, gain economic independence, and challenge traditional gender roles that limit their potential.

Child Rights and Protection

Our efforts in child rights focus on eradicating child labor, ensuring education, and promoting safe motherhood. We advocate for the protection and well-being of children, striving to create a society where every child has the opportunity to grow in a safe and supportive environment.

Support for HIV-Affected Children

We provide specialized care and support for children who are infected or affected by HIV. Our programs include access to healthcare, emotional support, and education, helping these children live healthier, more fulfilling lives despite the challenges they face.

Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resource Management

Through our initiatives in sustainable agriculture and natural resource management, we promote practices that safeguard the environment while enhancing food security. We work with local communities to implement watershed development programs, improve water resource management, and adopt eco-friendly agricultural practices that benefit both people and the planet.

Access to Government Resources

We facilitate access to various community resources, government schemes, and development programs, ensuring that tribal and rural poor populations can take advantage of the support available to them. By raising awareness and guiding them through the process, we help them break the barriers of isolation and empower them to meet their own social and economic needs.
